BOPC Car Show and Swap Meet
Calling ALL Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs, and Cadillacs!
On the 4th Saturday in October, OCF hosts the Annual BOPC Car Show and Swap Meet to benefit the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch. From 9:30-2:30, we populate Downtown City Park in Auburndale with spectacular automobiles. There is a Charity Auction; 50/50 tickets are sold. Spectators are FREE; participants pay $30 to enter the Show. Typically we have about 150 vehicles. Most who preregister for the show receive a FREE show t-shirt; all are eligible for participant-judged awards.
Oldsmar Days Parade/ALL Oldsmobile Car Show
Near the end of March each year the club participates in Oldsmar Days with the City of Oldsmar and the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. Oldsmar was founded and created by Ransom E. Olds—the founder of Oldsmobile and REO. Members drive their vehicles in the city parade and participate in the non-judged ALL Oldsmobile Car Show.
Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch Open House
In Early March, the Youth Ranch in Pinellas County holds their annual Open House. Members share their cars with the Ranchers and their supporters.
Meetings/Other Events
Other meetings and events are publicized and promoted in our monthly newsletter, Classic Olds Journal. COJ is distributed to members by email and contains interesting news and articles pertaining to Oldsmobiles and club members.
