Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch-Safety Harbor-March 7, 2026

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, OCF members and their Oldsmobiles meet at the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch Campus in Safety Harbor. This was the Annual Open House held the first Saturday in March. Thiis year, for the first time, they brought in the horses and wagon from the Ranch in Live Oak. Ranchers gave rides to visitors and also hosted cow roping for the visitors. It was another unique twist for the day.

There were numerous Sheriff’s Office vehicles and displays; all of these were open to the guests. Ranchers from Safety Harbor gave tours of their home and introduced their house parents. Sonny’s BBQ provided a delicious lunch.

This year the presentations were made before people got their meal. There were several organizations that presented donations; OCF was among them. We presented a check for $1000. This is the balance of the funds generated by the 2025 BOPC. (We presented a check for $3000 in Auburndale last October.)

After lunch, while we were all still seated in the tent, the K-9 officer and his dog gave a presentation. It is always fun to see the dog demonstrating his skills.

OCF can be very proud of the money we have raised to support the Sheriffs Youth Ranch over the last 12 years. With your help and that of our valued sponsors the amount has steadily grown.
